Dr Felix Sim is a specialist Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon managing problems involving the face, neck and jaws. He accepts referrals for removal of third molars (wisdom teeth), complex extractions, orthodontic exposure of teeth, placement of dental and zygomatic implants, grafting procedures, orthognathic surgery, head and neck pathology and facial trauma.
Dr Sim obtained his undergraduate dental qualification at the University of Sydney and medical degree at the University of Melbourne. He completed his specialist training in Victoria in 2015, leading to the specialist qualification FRACDS(OMS).

Following completion of his specialty training, Dr Sim was selected to a two-year highly competitive sub-specialty training in head & neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction at the Head and Neck Institute in Portland, Oregon, USA.
Dr Sim will start consulting from Melton Specialist Clinic in October 2019. All procedures requiring hospital admission will be carried out at local private Day Surgery Hospitals without the need for travel into the city. All LA (+/-IV sedation) procedures will be carried out at South West Oral & Facial Surgery main practice in Werribee.
Dr Sim is a Consultant surgeon at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Monash Hospital and Geelong Hospital. Private hospital appointments include Wyndham Clinic Private Hospital, Hobson Healthcare Sydenham, Epworth Hospital, St John of God Hospital Geelong and Holmesglen Hospital.
